Getting Started with Pear Deck

At the end of this module, you will be able to:

Create a Pear Deck account and navigate the Pear Deck homepage
Modify or create a Pear Deck slide deck
Launch a lesson with students and monitor / control progress

What is Pear Deck?

Pear Deck is a free (with paid upgrade optional) instruction and formative assessment addon to Google Slide decks, making them interactive. Decks can be shared all together on the same slide at the same time while teaching / presenting in the classroom or at their own pace on their own time.

Step 1. Let’s get started with Pear Deck!

Create your Pear Deck account

Go to peardeck.com.
Click on Teacher Login.
When prompted, log in with a Microsoft Office 365 or Google account and respond to a few questions.
Install the Pear Deck for Online PowerPoint Add-in or the Pear Deck for Google Slides Add-on.
